Have the neighbours complained that Fido barks the entire time you’re gone? Do you regularly get home to a destroyed house, or find they've hurt themselves? Does your dog need help to overcome separation anxiety?
What is Canine Separation Anxiety?
Canine Separation Anxiety is an anxiety disorder which causes your dog to experience panic when alone or separated from their guardian.
Your dog may be suffering from Canine Separation Anxiety if they display any or all of the following:
Continuous barking, howling, or whining during any period of alone time
Destructive behaviours such as chewing of furniture, shoes, or other forbidden items when left home alone or away from you
Toilet accidents despite being housetrained
Shaking, pacing, or signs of stress before you leave home
Frantic attempts to escape from the crate, or house, when a guardian leaves
A dog may be suffering from anxiety but not exhibit the behaviours identified above. They may show some other signs of fear e.g. licking, panting, drooling or pacing. If this sounds like your dog, it’s important to know it isn't your fault and your dog isn’t being naughty; they can't help their behaviour. Don't worry, you’re in the right place, so let's get you started.

How it Works:
On completion of the Service Agreement we meet via Zoom for our initial consultation to discuss your dogs behaviour and ascertain what needs to be done to control, manage, and improve your dogs behaviour.
As standard, a Dynamic Dog profile is included in all packages. Why is Dynamic Dog such an important part of the assessment? Pain isn't always obvious, don't assume it's just a limp or a whine; pain related behaviour is extremely complex! Dogs don't often show that they are in discomfort in the ways we'd usually expect; it is often very subtle and can go unnoticed for weeks, months or even years! In a recent study carried out at Lincoln University by Daniel Mills, it was found that approximately 80% of dogs that presented with behavioural issues had some form of undiagnosed pain that was a direct cause, or adding to, a problematic behaviour. As a qualified Dynamic Dog Practitioner I am able to identify potential signs of discomfort and relay them to your vet so that you and your dog find relief sooner.
